Tiger Wrestling Club Coaches
Mason Manville
Mason has been involved in the sport of wrestling for the past twenty-two years and is the current head coach of North Allegheny’s Jr. High team. He earned the privilege of representing the United States at the 2017 World Championship in Paris, France in Greco-Roman, and was on the U.S. National team two other times. Mason also wrestled for Penn State University for 6 years.Before competing in college and at the senior level, Mason was a nationally acclaimed High School wrestler. He graduated his senior year as the number one ranked wrestler in his weight class in the nation. Some of the major accomplishments he had during his time in High School include: UWW Cadet world Champion, Youth Olympic Silver medal, 4X Pan-American champion in Freestyle and Greco, Super32 Champion, Ironman Champion, Powerade Champion, and 2X National Prep champion.Mason lives in Pittsburgh with his wife Amanda, and daughter, Eden. He currently attends Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary in order to earn a Masters in Divinity.
Garrett Hoffman
Garrett wrestled at the Division one level for 6 years attending both Indiana University for Grad School and Bucknell University for Undergrad. Garrett qualified for Nationals as a true freshman at 184 pounds. Throughout his career Garrett was consistently ranked top 15 in the country earning multiple Big Ten Academic, NWCA All-Academic First Team, and EIWA Academic Achievement Awards. Garrett finished his collegiate career with over 30 wins after overcoming multiple knee surgeries.Before college Garrett attended Montoursville High School where he was a 2016 state finalist, 3 time state medalist, 3 time regional champion, 3 time district champion, and 4 time sectional champion. Garrett ended his career with 167 wins and was ranked nationally with multiple national awards and regional wrestler of the year.
